Project description
We have custom-designed and manufactured a Carbon Composite Head (CCR) for applying carbon fiber to aeronautical components for the Viper 3000 tape laying machine.
The CCR features a complex set of pneumatic cylinders that allow it to adapt to the profiles being taped.
The system will minimize machine downtime due to changes and “micro-stops”, reduce breakdowns, and increase the lifespan and functionality compared to the previous equipment.
